В-форма [ДНК]
Правоспиральное конформационное состояние молекулы ДНК, существующее при высокой относительной влажности (>92%) и в растворах с низкой ионной силой; полагают, что в живых клетках практически вся ДНК существует именно в В-ф. (в 80-х гг. было обнаружено, что небольшая часть ДНК существует в Z-форме Z form); число пар оснований на 1 виток - 10, расстояние между парами оснований 3,38 , угол вращения между соседними парами оснований - 36o, диаметр спирали - 19 , остаток дезоксирибозы находится в С2'-эндоконформации, все основания имеют антиконформацию.
